A little over a year now I have been a part of a sweet sweet crafting and vintage cooperative called Larkspur Handmade and Vintage Goods. Well, surprisingly we made it through a whole year, just with two members short of the original five. Its an interesting endeavor, filled with lessons to be learned and creativity to unfold. Sometimes it seems too hard to handle; its genuinely hard to work with other people, however sweet and wonderful they are... opinions will always differ and you will always have to compromise. This is a good thing... Its also hard to keep up with a shop, in terms of cleaning, stocking and trying to make it look good... But then you throw a big party and forget about all of those things! Our first birthday was great fun, filled with sunshine and flowery dresses!

ReplyDeleteThere were some pretty good photos leading up to the EXPLOSION, but I thought that may be a tad boring. Thanks for checking the blog sweet friend.
